FUMA 2 Rev. B

The Fuma 2 Rev. B has been revised and is now fully LGA 1700 compatible thanks to the H.P.M.S. IV mounting system. Otherwise, the Fuma 2 Rev. B follows the design principle of its predecessor and offers a powerful twin-tower heat sink with an asymmetrical structure. Six high-quality 6mm heatpipes connect the separate heatsinks to the massive copper base plate. All copper parts have been elaborately nickel-plated. The asymmetrical alignment and a recess on the back of the second cooling block allow unrestricted use of all memory banks. Even memory modules on the backside of the CPU socket are supported up to a height of 55 mm. The Fuma 2 Rev. B ships with two new Kaze Flex II 120 PWM fans. In addition to a regular model, a slim version with a frame width of only 15 mm is also used to keep the dimensions low. The Fuma 2 takes advantage of the principle of a “Dual Fan Reverse Airflow” design, in which the fans rotate in opposite directions. This creates higher static pressure and increased and consistent airflow. The PWM range has been increased to 1,500 rpm to offer more reserves for peak loads. An additional fan can be installed to further maximize cooling performance. The required mounting brackets are included in the scope of delivery.



The classic twin-tower design of the Fuma 2 is not centered directly above the CPU socket, but offset by inclined heat pipes. This asymmetrical design offers maximum free space for the memory banks. The cooling fins of the second tower are designed in such a way that RAM modules with a height of up to 55 mm can also be operated on the back of the CPU socket without restricting the effectiveness of the heat sink. Despite the enormous cooling surface, the Fuma 2 remains at a height of 154.5 mm and thus fits into any standard PC case.

Dual Fan Reverse Airflow

The Fuma 2 Rev. B CPU cooler uses two newly developed Kaze Flex II 120 fans, each working in a PWM range of up to 1,500 rpm. In addition, the fans rotate in opposite directions. This creates higher static pressure and increased and consistent airflow. In addition, a third fan can be mounted for more performance. Appropriate fan clips are included in the scope of delivery.

Kaze Flex II PWM Fans

Both of the Kaze Flex 120 II fans use a sealed fluid dynamic bearing (Sealed Precision FDB) that reduces friction and wear to a minimum thanks to a special oil film. Rubberized pads coveringe the frame have a decoupling effect and prevent the transmission of noise and vibrations to the case.

H.P.M.S. IV (Hyper Precision Mounting System IV)

The Fuma 2 Rev. B CPU Cooler uses the updated H.P.M.S IV mounting system which offers full LGA 1700 and AM5 compatibility. A pre-assembled mounting bar with spring-loaded screws ensures balanced pressure distribution. During the installation process, the universal backplate is securely fixed to the mainboard by rubberized spacers, making the process considerably easier.
