Choten TUF Gaming Alliance

The Choten TUF Gaming Alliance CPU cooler is another model from the cooperation between Asus and Scythe, which unites the TUF Gaming Alliance design with the good cooling properties of the Choten. The cooler uses a top-flow design to actively cool all surrounding mainboard components through the airflow directed from above. This has a positive effect on system stability and service life. During the development of the Choten, the focus was not only on excellent performance, but also on unrestricted compatibility with RAM. The asymmetric design, coupled with a large gap between motherboard and heatsink, ensures excellent compatibility with large memory modules. With a preinstalled Kaze Flex 120 RGB PWM fan, the total height of the Choten CPU Cooler is only 122 millimeters, allowing it to fit into all popular PC cases. This mix of good features, high compatibility, a high-quality RGB fan and an attractive design makes the Choten TUF Gaming Alliance a well-rounded CPU cooler for compact systems.


TUF Gaming Alliance Design

The Choten Gaming Alliance CPU Cooler combines the outstanding features of the Choten with the striking design of the Asus TUF Gaming Alliance series. RGB LED illumination, yellow design elements as well as the recurring TUF logo, set visual accents that can be found on all TUF Gaming Alliance products. The illumination can be controlled via Asus Aura Sync or a similar control system.

Kaze Flex 120 RGB PWM Fan

The Choten TUF Gaming Alliance CPU Cooler is equipped with a PWM fan from the award-wining Kaze Flex series, operating in a range from 300 to 1200 RPM. The self-contained liquid bearing (Sealed Precision FDB) reduces friction and wear to a minimum, resulting in an average lifespan of 120 000 hours. Rubber pads mounted in the fan frame have a decoupling effect and prevent the transfer of vibrations. Eight RGB LEDs arranged in a ring around the fan motor generate a consistent and powerful illumination of the translucent fan blades. The LEDs are operated by a standard 4-Pin 12V RGB cable that can be directly controlled by the common RGB system of various motherboard manufacturers.

Asymmetric design and low height

The Choten TUF Gaming Alliance CPU Cooler features a top flow design with the advantage of providing active cooling to the CPU power delivery components on the motherboard. The radiator is offset to improve the RAM compatibility while also maintaining a balanced shape for the cooler. In addition, the cooler has a height of only 122 mm with the fan installed, thus being compatible with a wide range of PC chassis.

H.P.M.S. III (Hyper Precision Mounting System III)

The secure and user-friendly Hyper Precision Mounting system III centers around a preassembled mounting bar, which features spring-loaded screws to guarantee perfect contact pressure. In combination with an updated backplate and rubber / plastic spacers the system offers a convenient installation process and compatibility to all current sockets including AMD®s AM4 and Intel®s LGA 2066 platforms.
