Slipstream fan (1900 rpm) has a strange odor
I just bought a set of two scythe slipstream fans 120 mm. I installed both of them on my scythe mugen 2 but after a while I started to smell a weird odor. It smells like burned elektronics. Also I noticed that the fans became pretty warm. I'm not sure how warm a 1900 rpm fan should get, but it's much warmer than my other case fans (although they are running at a lower rpm (~1200 rpm)). These conditions aren't very workable. What shall I do? Retun the fans or is the smell just going to disapear in a few days? Thanks in advance.
