I have a 478 socket cpu ( 3.2 HP ) and i had temprature problems.
so i got the shuriken cpu fan. My mobo has 3 pin cpu fan connector and shuriknen is 4 ! I installed it and it works but it doesnt speed up when the cpu gets hot ! It stays at the same rpms with cpu @ 40 degrees and @ 65+. So eventualyy it goes to 70 and it shuts down. How can i make it speed up..do i need to do sth with the 4pin ( ECI14 ) ? |

No it can't go any faster. You have to take in account that the diameter of the stock fan is much smaller. The bigger the fans diameter to more air can be moved with the same rpm.
A 120mm fan can move @1000rpm much more air than a 92mm fan @1000rpm. As the Intel fan has a smaller diameter ist need much more rpm for the same effect. And 2200 is very fast for a fan (much noise!). The Intel P4 is not easily to cool.
