A couple of short questions - passive

Hi!

I have the following rig:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000 (Brisbane, 65W)
Passive HD4670
Scythe Kamariki4 450W
NZXT Gamma Tower case

and I currently have the Shuriken cooler (first one), which I plan on replacing with either Orochi, Ninja2 or Zipang2, just for additional silence.

So, a couple of short questions:

1) Orochi vs Ninja2 in passive mode? I guess Orochi is a lot better?

2) Difference between Orochi revA and revB is only that revB comes with s.1366 mount, is it?


Which Scythe cooler would you recommend for my rig if silence is the most important factor?

Hi yuichi,

Orochi is one of biggest and one of the best passive cpu cooler, which you can buy. Ninja 2 is not bad, too but in silence performance he can´t win vs. Orochi

But I think for your system you can use Ninja 2 passive without fan.

Orochi Rev.B have a backplate mouting system.
