Default Urgent help with Ninja 775 installation, I lost the 4 washers...

Hi!
I have always used my ver 1 Ninja with AMD system and now that I want to use it with a 775 I realized that the instructions mention 4 washer and screws. I do have the screws, I think, but the washers are not found.
Which are those, do you have pictures from the washers ...is it something I can find in any hardware store?
Please I am building on Saturday and need the answer asap.
Thanks!

1. These washers are made of transparent plastic and are quite thick.

2. You can easily replace them by washers made of paper or cardboard. You know those red washers delivered with mainboards sometimes? The ones that are put between case and mainboard? Put 2 or 3 on top of each other for every screw hole and you'll achieve nearly the same thickness and the same degree of isolation.

Thanks a lot for the picture!
Any chance I can buy something similar in a local hardware store? Do you have the dimensions?
I didnt get any washers with my mainboards unfortunately.

Well, I bought some washers at Homedepot that are made of rubber and others of nylon so I hope they are ok.

Everything that's not made out of metal and barely the size of the originals should work. Good luck!

Hi,

The washers that you had with first NInja, were different, they were very thin and made out of plastic. The one in the picture above are from the actual Retention Kit, and are thicker. I would go for paper, cardboard or plastic, simply to isolate the metal from the motherboard. That is all what you need them for...

Cheers and have fun with your Ninja
