MB: ASUS P5K-E WIFI
Replaced CPU-Cooler fan with a 1300 RPM (2° down)

Temps Idle (all case fans @ ~850 RPM - CPU Fan 1330 RPM):
Core 1: 44°
Core 2: 44°
Core 3: 38°
Core 4: 39°

Temps load (all case fans @ ~1250 RPM - CPU Fan 1330 RPM):
Core 1: 65°
Core 2: 62°
Core 3: 60°
Core 4: 61°

Room temp: 24.5°

The temperatures where measured with Everest & Core Temp (same temps).

Now my questions, why is there a difference in temp of 5° from one core to the other and I thought with the Ninja it should have been possible to bring those temperatures down even when overclocked. To me those temperature seem to high especially under load. Any idea how I could improve the temps or should I just go for another cooler? I used Arctic silver 5 thermal paste (possibly too much).

Please advise. Thanks!
I have essentialy the same setup (case, cpu, mobo) as described above and am using the Ninja 2. Idle temsp are 29 on coldest core and 32 on hottest. Under prime for 4 hours (so far) hotest is 52 and coldest is 49.

the processor is OC to 3.00 ghz so the ninja 2 is fine for OC

P.S. I have the ninja fan drawing air up and out the top vent not the back vent.

Interesting. Asus A8N SLI SE, AMD athlon 64 3000+
I just recently fitted ninja mini for OC. I realise its small thats why I brought it to keep weight down, as I may move the case from time to time.
Was disappointed with temps, as they are, if anything, higher than the stock AMD cooler.
It could of course be
1) my inexperience of applying paste
2) the fan doesnt blow accross the bottom of the assembly (the thick, vertical fins), as the ram is in the way!

So I will
1) add another fan to blow or pull
2) re apply better thermal paste.
3) re-orientate the cooler in order to have fan blowing up, instead of out the back.

peace!
