Is the "scnj 1100p" fan compatible with AM3 socket?

I have this one "scnj 1100p":
Scythe NINJA PLUS Rev.B 6Heat Pipes CPU Cooler

Is that fan compatible with AM3 Socket?

And is it also compatible with:
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition 3,4GHz 140W Box

140 Watt is quite alot so.

Yes socket AM3 is physically compatible to AM2 so the AM2 brackets of Ninja work with a AM3 socket/board.

And yes the Scythe CPUs are tested for high TDP but don't expect very low temps if you are not using powerful fans and probably two of them (push & pull) on Ninja. Basically I'd choose Mugen 2 for your cooling job.

As Ninja was designed for low rpm or passive use it doesn't scale as good as Mugen 1/2 when airflow is raised.
