Hi
I bought Ninja Scythe 2 revision B. I mounted it on AM2 socket (Athlon X2 64) but forgot to apply the cooling paste. Needless to say, the cooler doesn't work properly now, but I can't dismount the radiator! How am I supposed to do that? Do I press the staples all the way down to the mainboard or up to the radiator? The manual doesn't say anything about removal... |

Hello,
I have the same problem with ninja 2 revB, SCNJ-2100 on socket 939 (asus a8nsli premium motherboard). I think i've put not enough thermal paste between the CPU and ninja and my temps just seem to high. i have athlon64 x2 4600+ (manchester core) and under load my temp goes up to 65C. I have the fan installed on ninja and a good rear exhaust fan. So, i need to remove the ninja but i don't know how - it's locked on the first clip on both sides and it's very tight against the CPU. So how do i remove it? There's just NO info about this in ninja manual or anywhere on the net. Please help. |

Hm, this forum is under the "support" section on manufacturer's official site. It is really not professional that there is absolutely no reaction to questions as fundamental as these two about deinstallation method. And the first of them was asked three days ago.
It shouldn't even be necessary to ask these questions if installation guide wasn't written so sloppily and without even a word about deinstallation. Not to mention that it also doesn't say anything about ninja2 rev b being one directional in fact (ribs on the bottom cooler that sits on the base should be vertically positioned towards position of the fan on ninja). |

Hi,
nobody ever have such problems. You only have to push one side of the clip down and then push it away from the cooler. its easy... Why we have no extra part for this in our manual: because its the same move as the installation, but reversed.
