Hi,
I received my Musashi today. My graphics adapter is the Club 3D GTS250 Green Edition. Setup: unmounting the stock cooler was easy, but then I got quite shocked. The little passive coolers won't stick (when I turned around the card to bring the backplate in position 2 coolers fell off). I took some cleaning alcohol and removed the last oily remainders of the coolingpad from the stock cooler. Testing: I set the fans to ~85% via potis and they are barely audible (and my system is quite silent)Are these values normal? The max. temp seems quite high in comparison to the stock fan. I think my case could be a problem.. only leaving 1.5-2 PCI-slot-height room to the chamber wall scythe.jpg. Noise: Just, wow! The Kaze Jyu Slim are very silent, at ~90% I start recognizing them, but not in a too disturbing way.As conclusion I am happy with the Musashi for it's low noise levels. The temps could be better, but are not bad. (are there plans for stronger 100mm fans.. since you discontinued the Kaze Jyu Case Fans?) greets. |
