Musashi Compatibility ATI 5870/5850

Die Temperaturen der SpaWas sind ja schon mit dem Originalkühler gut, mit dem Musashi gab es ja keinerlei Verbesserung, oder sehe ich das falsch?

ah yes fixed and i must tell you that the Musashi don´t work with 5750/5770. The problem are the Dual DVI.
Musashi touch it and you can see it here. Tested card Sapphire 5770.

Uns sind andere Werte bekannt, zudem wurde der Musashi nicht mit voller Drehzahl betrieben. Die Temperaturen die bei uns gemessen wurden in Last, lagen deutlich unter denen aus der Review. Ich wunder mich alleine schon über die Temperaturen dieser Retail Sapphire. Es ist an sich der Standard Kühlkörper der 5870 und bei diesem wurden schon bei uns knapp 80 C maximal erreicht. Ich kann die Werte echt nicht nachvollziehen, weder von der Retail als auch von der Musashi modifizierten Grafikkarte. Wenn wir demnächst mal eine vor Ort haben, werde ich es nochmal testen und mich bisschen genauer über Werte äußern.

Hallo zusammen, hab mich nun auch hier angemeldet, weil ich endlich mal Fakten brauche.
Ich habe den Musashi hier und eine Sapphire 5850.
Passen die nun zusammen, ja oder nein? Und soll ich die Originalkühlerplatte nutzen oder die beigelegten Kühlkörper.

In diesem Test wird der gleiche Kühlkörper auf den Spawas verwendet, wie es ihn auch schon bei dem Musashi gibt, doch der Musashi ist mit Originalkühlteilen auf der gleichen Seite durchgefallen...AMD Radeon HD 5850 leise kühlen: Alternative Kühler angetestet - Kompatibilität Scythe Musashi (Seite 8) - Tests bei HardTecs4U

Das kann ich nicht ganz nachvollziehen, für was sind die anderen Teile beim Setsugen gedacht? Die 2 Größeren Heatspreader mit Push Pins?

Hello!
I'm a bit confused concering the cooling of the VRM. On the first page here you used the heatsinks that comes with the Musashi. But on your homepage you recommend: "*¹ It is recommended to use the heatsink-plate coming with the original cooler to cool the VR/MosFET"

If I am to use the original cooling, how should I do this? The original heatsink is too high, so the Musashi won't fit on top of it. Is the concept to modify the Musashi to make it fit, or do you have any other, smarter, solution?

the musashi fits...after a bit of bend

dt: der passt schon gut, nach ein wenig biegen. nur die schrauben sind sehr schmal und die löcher recht groß. somit bleibt er immer sehr leicht verdrehbar

What about the VRM temps on the 5870? i have a Musashi cooler that i bought and wanted to use with my XFX 5870, but i havent used it since i read that the heatsinks you get with it would not be enough? Is this true? How are the VRM temps with the Musashi + Scythe heatsinks?

EDIT: How long untill you get an answer around here?
