Default No fit in case

The Mugen doesn't fit into the case Coolermaster Cosmos S because it's too high.
My Q is: The cooler will do it's job if I cut a bit (3cm) the heatpipes in order to fit into the case ?

Hello vaskap,

the heatpipes are filled with a gas which is responsible for the heat-transfer to the cooling-fins. If you cut them, you will lose the gas and the Mugen will not work.

Cheers,
Stefan
