Exclamation Mounting the Mugen

I have a MSI P7N diamond motherboard. I don't seem to get the "clicking" noise when I press the Push Pins. No mather how hard i push, it won't go any further in. So there's still space between the black part and the white part, as shown on the picture.

Does this matter?
or any solutions for this?

Cheers

First of all the clicking noise is no "feature" of pushpin installation. I know that most poeple see the noise as confirmation that the pushpin was inserted properly. Much more important is - if possible - to take a look underneath your mainboard and check if the pushpins opened correctly (the white pin spreading the black parts) on the downside.

Referring to your image it really should be pushed a bit further. Perhaps the pins wasn't in the right direction / needs to be roteted just a bit to push it down completely? In my case when I used pushpins the first time it was easier to understand and also observe how the mechanism works when I tried it out of the case. And there's sometimes lots of pressure necessary you'll see your mainboard bending (not critical) due to the pressure the pushpins generate.

Bye Oli

Hey,

as Oli mentioned, the Pushpins click not on purpose. It does not have to click, and the picture looks OK but I need to see the back side rather than the top side.
