Default Mount ********/Mugen using Ninja's universal retention kit?

Hi,

I have the "original" Ninja Plus that comes with the universal retention kit. But it does not have the spacer like the retail kit.

Can I mount the ******** using the Ninja's kit?

Is it ok if I don't remove the tape covering the sticky pad? Will it cause electrical problem like capacitance, etc.? I doubt it will cause a short...

Thanks for the help.

Hi and welcome.

The Kit from Ninja PLUS is compatible to all our coolers using 478 Clips. The difference is not only the copper spacer but also the insulation washers, which cover the difference in heights. So there is no problem using it as it is at all.

The sticky pad, please keep it on the backplate, there will be no problems but only advantages. The foil is not conductive.

Greetings,
Andy

How thick or thin should the plastic washers be?

You also mentioned "replace the insulation washers by thin insulation washers made of paper/plastic". 80gsm copier paper thickness?

Good to know.
Thanks for the advice. I will try it the next time I change my CPU.
