AM3 mounting question

Hey,

i just want to know if the mugen 2 can be mounted on an AM3 Mainboard in every direction or can it only be mounted with the fan facing the psu (if it's at the top of the case) or the graphic card like most Xigmatek heatsinks. Or can it be mounted on AM3 with the fan facing the case front?

And does the mugen 2 block any ram slots on a Gigabyte MA790XT-UD4P?

normal you can mount Mugen 2 in every direction. But we can´t guaranty that Mugen 2 with fan block any ram slots on a Gigabyte MA790XT-UD4P. We don´t have this motherboard here for checking. So check this thread - http://www.scythe-eu.com/forum/mainb....html#post9218

I'm asking because all my four ram slots are currently in use and I don't want to remove any of them just to be able to install a mugen 2.

Yes I understand ; ) but mostly if Mugen 2 with fan block 1-2 Ram Slots you can change the fan position.
