Default Mugen 2 with EVGA x58 E758 with Dominators

Would the Mugen 2 fit the EVGA x58 E758 with Dominators? Cause I heard that the CPU cooler is huge. I have a HAF 932 full ATX.

Also can someone give me a good fan set up if it fits? I have an i7 920 D0 OCed to 3 GHz on the stock cooler, it runs about ~75 on full load, i want to push the CPU to 4 GHz with the temps below 70.

Hi,

its realy tight on your MB. You can mount the Mugen 2 but in Push position (fan on ram side) it will definitely block 1-2 slots for Dominators. But what you can do is to mount the fan a little bit higher over the Dominators. If this works you get better performance as in pull position on VR side.

If you want best performance, or better performance i would suggest to you to use one hight RPM fan, like Slip Stream 1900rpm or to use 2 mid rpm fans (Slip Stream 1200 / 1600)

Chris
