Default Scythe Mugen 2 & Asus P5K-E WiFi-AP

I'm am running a Intel Q6600 on a Asus P5K-E WiFi-AP motherboard and thinking about the Mugen 2. As far as I know the Mugen 2 should fit just fine on this Motherboard.

There's just one question: will I be able to install it using this memory?

- Welcome to Corsair :: XMS2 DHX Product Information

All memory slots are full as i running my system on 4 x 2GB. Don't want to uninstall the heatspreader as those are the reason for buying this memory (overclocking purpase etc.).

Could anyone please help me out? If this cpu cooler just won't work, which will? For example the Ninja? I'm planning on overclocking my cpu (and possible RAM) so I want a fantastic cooler. Room temps. rise to like 30 degrees in the summer... :S

A picture to show my setup in case there is any wondering:

1. Please do not crosspost. Your other posting was deleted.

2. Mugen 2 will fit as Mugen 1 does. With Mugen 1 the fan even ends BEFORE the first RAM slot. As Mugen 2 has grown in dimensions the fan unfortunately will hang over (at least) the first RAM slot (in my opinion) - which isn't a prob with normal RAMs. So it will be a problem with yours.

But: As the heatspreaders on your modules aren't as high as on the Reaper ones with their heatpipes it is probably possible to use the following workaround: mount the fan a bit higher on Mugen 2 to clear the heatspreaders if necessary. The fan will stick out a bit above the cooler but that shouldn't be a problem. Question is: is your case width sufficient to close the side panel when the fan sticks out above Mugen 2 more than normal?! But it's worth a try.

Second option: Mount the fan on the opposite side of Mugen 2 in a sucking setup between rear fan and cooler. So you'll have plenty of room an the RAM side.
