Default MSI 266Pro

Hi!

Is it compatible with the MSI 266Pro (also called MSI 9105)? This is an old 2-CPU Socket 370 board.

Best Regards,

Robert

Hallo Ronald,

actually we don't have any cooler which are fitting to socket 370. If you could buy for example a Katana 1 on ebay, this will fit.

Cheers,
Stefan

Default Katana 2 - LGA1366

I see there is a LGA1366 kit to enable the Katana 2 to fit on an I7 cpu.
I have this heatsink from an AMD 939 and found it very quiet so I would like to replace the noisy i7 stock fan on my Asus P6T deluxe v2 motherboard. Will it fit OK and will the Katana 2 with its single speed fan be up to the task of cooling an i7 ?

Hello Suller,

You should get no area problems on you motherboard and also the clip will fit with the Kantana 2.
About the performance task: our coolers all are designd for 130W TDP, so the Katana 2 should handle the Core i7 without any problems.

Cheers,
Chris
