Mugen 2 fits perfectly on my MSI K9A2 Platinum V2, i had no problems installing it. Now with CnQ off and max load it keeps my 125W Phenom below 42°C. Good job Scythe!

Guten Tag,

Ich wollte mal Wissen ob der Scythe Mugen 2 auf das Asus P5Q-E passt wenn man "Corsair XMS2 Dominator" benutzt, da die ja relativ hohe Heat Sinks/Speader haben. Ich wäre über eine Hilfreiche Antwort sehr happy, da ich von dem Kühler sehr begeistert bin!

Hallo Koorban,

das ist verdammt schwer zu sagen - ich gehe davon aus, dass es passen sollte, da die RAM-Bänke recht weit vom CPU-Sockel entfernt sind.

so Mugen 2 passt ohne probleme auf ein Gigabyte GA-MA790GP-DS4H trotz mit belegten 4x Speicherslots, man darf halt keine hohen Heatspreader benutzen,lüfter passt alle richtung,TOP Kühler

Hi again,

just wanted to say that the Mugen 2 fits on the "MSI P35 NEO 2 FR"-board without any problems and in both directions.

Just the fan may collide with high-profile-RAM-modules (high ram-cooler or something) in the first bank if the fan will be assembled at the right side,
there are no problems with "normal" ram-modules though.

Also it should fit on the "MSI P35 NEO 2 PLATINUM"-board, cause it has the exactly same layout as the FR/FIR-board (as far as i know).

The MUGEN 2 is performing really well here b.t.w.!
