OK, my PSU is mounted at the bottom of my case: http://lian-li.com/v2/tw/product/upl...0f/a70f-05.jpg

It's a Lian Li A70F

But can there be compatibility issues with this HDD Rack on top left of the case?

Possible. I'd need to overlay cooler, board, case etc with correct dimensions to give you can excat answer but this would need quite an amount of time & work. Which I cannot provide at the moment, sorry.

If Scythe themselves do not comment on this you'll have to try yourself. But it looks rather close! CPU socket is just too close to the edge on this board.

OK. I'd rather make a try for myself. I will let you know, if it works or not.

Thanks a lot.

Default Asus M4N98TD EVO Compatability and Backplate

I have two questions. First, is the Mugen 2 Rev. B compatible with the ASUS M4N98TD EVO? Secondly, do I have to remove the stock metal backplate on the motherboard? If you don't know about the M4N98TD EVO could you at least answer the backplate question. I looks like the backplate is mounted using the same holes I would need to mount the Mugen 2 backplate.

Also, do I need to use insulated spacers/washers between the motherboard and the Mugen 2 Rev. B backplate?

Default Asrock Alive Dual eSATA2

Hallo,

Thumbs up Compatibility

Hello everyone,

I received my Scythe Mugen 2 Rev.B today.
First, the installation of this Mugen 2 on my micro-ATX ASROCK H55M (LGA1156) is successful, 100% Compatible.

No problem with the VGA Card, there is a 2,5cm space between the Mugen2 and my 4850X2 ! (which is on the first PCI-Express slot)

No problem with the RAM, too. No collision, thanks to my small RAM modules (/!\ Can't install RAM with high heatspreaders) :

Good point : The cooler is just high enough to allow me to change my RAM modules without removing it (I just have to remove the fan).

My Core i5 750 @ Stock frequency is at 30°C while idle.

NOTE : I think the original Mugen 2 (Rev. A) is compatible with this motherboard TOO, because this mobo has 1156 AND 775 pushpins holes.

Nice cooler here.
Thanks Scythe !

Hello everyone,

Would the mugen 2 fit on this asus p4p800e deluxe motherboard? Or am I better off with a Samurai ZZ instead?
(Price matters, I'm on a small budget)
It would be for a p4 prescott 2.8ghz, around 84W TDP, it gets quite hot.

Thanks in advance.

Default Msi p55-d85

Hello,

i just installed this beast on my MSI P55-GD85, but i think i'm missing something here. Should there be plastic washers between the mainboard and the metal srews? I haven't seen this in the manual or in the box. The cooler can be moved with a bit of force. Can somebody tell me if i need washers with this mainboard?
