Having purchased the Scythe Big Shuriken, I would not be concerned about the quality/price ratio of any of the Scythe products, as long as you shop around for the best deal and do some research of competitive products. In my case the dimensions of the cooler were the limiting factor. It had to be under 70mm high to fit between the optical drive and the motherboard in my Silverstone GD04 case. This one would be too high to fit in my case even with my blu-ray drive removed. There is no doubt that having 6 pipes, a very much thicker radiator and a thicker fan than the Big Shuriken, this one would offer much more cooling power than my Big Shurken, and it costs only around $5 more than I paid for the latter. I i need a cooler to old pentium 4 3,4ghz(478).I found this cooler,but i found two problems.
1.the cooler is made with pwd(four wires)but my fan motherboard connector is only 3 pin.¿I can connet this fan to my motherboard? 2.space,¿the fan can affect my four 512 ram sticks?. This is my mothrboard: ASRock > Products > P4V88+ |
