Ninja Cu + "classic" Universal Retention Kit compatible?

Hello,

I plan to buy a sockel 1155 platform and it would be nice to keep my beloved Ninja Cu cooler. I found the retention kit pretty handy and would like to keep this combo I used on my sockel 775 board.

Will my plan work out?

for lga 1155/1156 you need a different retention kit - Mugen 2 LGA1156 Clips: Scythe - The Cooling Experts

So a S1156 retention kit for the Mugen 2 fits for a Ninja Cu cooler on a S1155? Sounds pretty damn daring.

But if you say it'll work out I will give it a shot.

There are no clips, you have to use the screws that come with the retention kit and the ones that came with the Ninja cooler. It most likely will fit because I had no trouble mounting a Ninja Cu with the kit.

I also have the first Ninja maybe that also fit?
