A few people of you have missed this list, out now
![]() Due to a big demand for this list we are trying to keep this updated and accurate as possible. Please feel free to post images of possible and compatible motherboards. The current list, which we try to keep up to date, can be also found in the Support corner of our website. Color code:
ASUS P5Q SE2 MSI P45 Neo-F MSI P4N SLI-FI Last Update: 20.09.2010 by Reiniell Every support is appreciated and would help other users as well so please feel free to supply any useful compatibility tips, pictures. Disclaimer: Please note that this compatibility may not apply to all the motherboards as the manufacturer randomly tend to change the components (capacitors, condensers, etc) used for their motherboard without informing to the public. Hence, the height of the capacitors and condensers maybe higher depending on the production lot of the motherboard.

The Ninja 2 (SCNJ-2000) does fit on a MSI P45 Neo (Description on MSI website). It is also sold under the name of " MSI P45 Neo-F ".
On those pictures it is mounted using the Universal Retention Kit (ie: with the backplate sold apart). I (hardly) managed to mount it without the spacer. It is also working with the original pinpoint fixation but due to the weight of the cooler, the pinpoints tend to run away by themselves. Memory slots 1 & 2 are overlapped by the fan: beware if you have a cooling system on your RAM, it may not fit anymore. (Click the pictures for bigger size)

Hello!
The SCNJ-2000 is compatible with the MSI P4N SLI-FI motherboard. Bottom fin has a small distance from the northbridge cooler but it's ok. I have the fan guard removed, but that is not necessary. The scythe ninja fan is just above the ram dimms, so if you have big ram heatsinks, you might need to install the fan from another side. See attached image. |
