Hi,

it should be i see nothing what can to bug the mounting from Ninja 2 Rev.B.
It´s hard to say it´s fit or not, because we haven´t the boards but the Ninja 2 Rev.B have normally no compatibility problems with Intel interfaces.

Default ninja2 revB on asus p7p55d

Hi!

My system integrator could not use scyte Ninja2 revB on Asus p7p55d motherboard, at least not with dimms with chip coolers on it (Ninja covers at least the closest dimm slot).

Cheers

Well this is the normal situation for any Scythe cooler and not directly connected to Socket 1156 or Ninja. As a matter of fact with any socket (AM2/3, 775, 478, 1156, 1366) the board layouts differ. Some manufacturers place the socket closer to the ram slots - some others keep more distance. Some have 4 slots, some have 6.

So in any situation you need to check whether the fan hangs directly above the rams modules or not. In this case modules with higher heatspreaders can't be used in the affected slots or you need to place the fan in a sucking setup (for tower coolers).
