Problem with mounting of Katana 2

I've got BIG problem.
I've got Katana 2 and I've used it on AM2
Week ago I've changed to Intel's 775
Now the problem is that I can't mount my Scythe on the new mobo.
Why?
Someone stole few things from my room. He stole also the box for Katana where I've had mounting accesoriess for Katana.
Is there a way to mount Katana now?
Does the Universal Retention Kit can help with it? Because I don't see how it can help me with my problem :( I've got only bracket for mounting Scythe on AM2...

there are svereral parts with your katana 2, and depending on the socket, you just assemble one of it. for so775 you have to assemble the push-pin-"part", you can see it here http://www.scythe-eu.com/en/products.../katana-2.html on the right bottom, the part with the black things on it.

but you have to use that part, I don't know another way. And in ordner to use the retention kit, you have to use the so478-part, which you see just left to the so775-pushpin-part. so the universal ret. kit will only hep, if you still got that part.

But if you are from germany: I assembled my katana2 with the universal ret. kit, and so I do not need the so775-pushpin-part any longer. maybe I could send it to you, if you pay me a little bit for it? but I don't know, if this is worth it...

maybe even scythe can send you the part, I don't know...

yes, I understood, but you have only three opportunities, if scythe cannot help you:

1) find someone in your country, who does not need the so755-pushpin-part of the katana2 and agrees to send it to you for a small fee.

2) find someone in your country, who does not need the so478-assembly-part of the katana2 and agrees to send it to you for a small fee, and then you buy the universal retention module und install it with that so478-assembly-part.

3) buy a completely new cooler...

YOu don#t need to worry. We can solve the problem. Send me a private message with your address and we will send you the LGA775 clips for free. You can use Katana 2 on the 775 mobo then. Problem solved ;)
