Default Temp problems

HELLO

I USE AMD PHENOM 9950 BE WITH ANDY AND SLIP 1900 PRM.

WHEN I USE PRIME 95 FOR CPU TEST THE TEMPS IS VERY HIGH.

I NEVER MANAGE THE TEST SO FAR.,CAUSE THE PC TURN OFF BY OVERHEAT

THE THERMAL GREASE I USE IS ZALMAN ZM-STG1.

ANY WITH SAME PROBLEM??

what exactly means "very high"? How much thermal grease did you use?

Hi
i use amd overdrive 2.1.4 monitoring the temps.
The pc turn off at 70 c
i use the grease exactly as they say
today i clean the heatsink from dust and replace the fan with new one slip 1900
still the same problem
everythink seems working properly
weird

hello

when i say everythink working properly i mean that i dont have any other hardware problem

still have the previous problem with prime95

in the first minutes of test the pc turn off by overheating in cpu

the bios settings for temp shut down is 90 c....

in 75 c the pc turns off

still is weird because today i take off cpu cooler

cleaned cooler and cpu reinstall with fresh grease

and fresh fan ...........and still have the same problem.....

Hihow,

so how does the distribution of the thermal grease look like? Can you be sure, that Heatspreader and BasePlate of the cooler are even and plain?

hi

i wait some time so the grease give the best performance

and then i post again....with photos of cpu, test....etc

the heatspreader is firmly attached in the plastic base of mobo

and the distribution of the thermal grease looks even and plain in

surface of heatspreader,and in the cpu.

thats why i tell you this is weird

notice this is 2 time pull out the cpu clen the surface pullback

with other fan etc.....

did you try prime 95????

if no give it a try and tell me!!
