Exclamation My Kazemaster Pro led screen has turned off

I have no idea what's going on. Is it dead or is there someway i accidentaly turned it off? I got it two days ago, and it stopped workign today. The fans still speed up and down (so the fan controllign works), but the screen is black

edit: looking online i see a few people with the same issue. If I have to RMA it's gonan be a pain becuase i payed 15 dollars for shipping and shipping back will cost more.

Hello and welcome svendk,

you can try to check the connection of the fan controller. If the display don't show anything it is possible to that the fan controller don't get 5V (5V for the display / 12V for the fan controlling). If the fan controller is getting 5V possibly the inverter of the defect (Kaze Master Pro have VFD display). In this case you can't do much - only send back to the seller.

It seems more like a INHERENT defect in the product. Why do so many peopel have the same problem? Read through the forum and you'll see hundreds of threads with similar (or the same) problem.

The connector isn't broken, I've tried all I could.
The device cost 40 dollars, you'd expect SOME level of quality.

Hello svendk,

I can understand your anger! How old is your fan controller?

As I said:

But anyways, I've returned it. I honestly think you should issue a recall of the product. Not only is it often DOA (or brakes within a few days), but it's apparently a fire hazard too.

I'm sorry - I overlooked the purchasing time!

Well, if the display don't work (for example in case of a faulty inverter) there is no risk of fire. This can only happen in case of a short circuit, but then should the power supply turning off the PC.

Like I said, I can understand your anger!

Hi Wee sprig yes you can. But. If you are doing brushless for better performance, why not go to Li Po as well,to get the better performance and efficiency? Regards Ken
