I recently bought a Kaze Server silver and an Enermax Apollish 120mm blue led fan to install in my CPU cooler. Yesterday I installed everything, but I have two problems:
1) I connect the Enermax fan to the fan port n.1, but it doesn’t work. In particular, when I power on my computer, the fan starts and also the leds illuminate, but immediately the fan stops and the leds turn off. I tried to change the fan port (connecting to port n.3), but it didn’t work again. Instead, the fan that was on port n.3 runs perfectly even on port n.1. So, I exclude that it could be a cable or connection problem. So, I connected the fan to a 3 pin port on the motherboard, and it worked perfectly. So, it isn’t a fan problem. Is it possible that it’s a compatibility problem between the Kaze Server and the fan?? 2) The temperature sensor on port n.2 indicates 0.0°, but it is connected perfectly. I didn’t try another cable (from the two additional) yet, but is it possible that the cable is broken?? Thank you for your answer. P.S: sorry for my English. However, this fan controlle is amazing! Ok, I find myself the solution.
For the first problem with the fan, I discover that the Enemarx Apollish series have a thermal sensor integrated with the fan. So, the fan auto regulates itself, and so it does'n work with ANY fan controller! For the second problem with the thermal sensor, I cange it with one of the two extra and it works perfectly, so I think the that one is broken. |
