Exclamation My Kama panel 2 do not read cards

Hi, i just bought a kama panel 2 to control some fans on my pc and to read digital cards and since i mounted it i can not read cards. I tried to read SD and Mini SD but no luck i can see the letters of the card reader in windows explorer but it is telling me when i click on them that there is no media inserted even if the led turn to red when a card is inserted.
Do i have to install some sort of driver to solve the problem
Also i noted that there is just one USB port of the kama panel 2 wich is working the other one seems to supply the pen drive with energy but windows do not detect the pen drive
Thanx for helping me
Ps: I use Windows 7

Well i just noted a very strange thing, i tried to read a mini sd using an adapter to SD, actualy i tried two adapters and the result is that its working with one of the two adapters, and the very strange part is that the mini sd can not be readed alone in the card reader without the adapter
So does does the card reader prefer an adapter than an other
Why i can not just read the card without an adapter like it is supposed to be
