Asus P5E3 Deluxe Compatibility

Hello,

I could not find a motherboard compatibility list for the Zipang CPU cooler here. I would like to use a Scythe product and the Zipang seems like a good option IF it will fit on my motherboard.

I have ordered the following components already that may be important concerning the CPU cooler:

1) Motherboard: Asus P5E3 deluxe
2) CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 2.66Ghz Socket 775 CPU
3) RAM: Corsair 4096MB PC12800 DDR3 1600MHz (2x2048MB)
4) Case: Silverstone SST-LC20S-M (LC-20M)

My case is an HTPC type, only 170mm in Height total, so the CPU cooler should be less than 140mm H total, with fan. I have read many good reviews of the Scythe "Zipang" and if it is compatible I would like to buy one. If it is not compatible due to size limitation, can you suggest an alternative cooler that is?

Any P5E3 Deluxe (with Quad core) users please respond.

Yes, I did, but result is inconclusive.

I think I will go with the Kama Cross instead, better chance that it will fit.

I think, Zipang should fit usually.
