Can zipang use UNIVERSAL RETENTION KIT?

And is the Copper Spacer for Socket 775 necessary for zipang?

I am using it for GA-EP45-DS4P board which is LGA775.
Will the universal retention kit decrease/increase or have the same thermal performance and is it more stable then the push pin method?
Cause Using the push pin was extremely difficult for me.

by the way, is this product same as Scythe CPU Cooler Stabilizer???

Yes you can use Universal Retention Kit.

Difference to Socket 775 kit is that Universal Kit transforms your cooler into a Socket 478 cooler (adding the necessary rails and backplate) while the Socket 775 kit just replaces the pushpins by screws and adds a backplate.

If you plan to use the cooler for socket 775 only I'd prefer the socket 775 kit if it is already available. It is easier to handle and AFAIK you won't need the copper spacer.
