Ha, you got the pictures =P Nice job, and thanks for posting =)
We can also have a poll from people for it, weather they want it to be produced or not. What do you say?

Yet another monster-cooler like Orochi?
I would say its better to develop a next-level-mugen (high airflow design) or something like that. For passive and ultra-silent cooling you'll drop the Orochi to the retail-market, aren't you? A second isn't necessary. A poll is a suitable instrument to get "just in time" the customers needs *g*

Well, we are indeed working on that. The low noise Monster is Orochi and I don't think that it will be replaced that soon. Mugen should get a new level too, no question. I can not leak anything yet, but stay tuned, this year won't be boring ;D
We try to satisfy the customer's needs as much as possible ^^

the trend now to go to bigger HS is too extreme. it's size is becoming a problem in many cases and Mobo's. i think the stress should be on developing new technologies for better cooling rather then bigger heat sinks.

Well,
it is not a trend, you have to not look only at the big coolers. We also released a very small Cooler with Zipang layout, but now one mentions because it is small. It is not really correct, that it is a trend. The Giant Ninja was also nur for the show, we do those kind of things always ;D I believe there will be people who would buy that cooler but unless we make it in big quantities, it will be too expensive. Ninja (2), Mugen, Orochi and Zipang are already getting to the top of their each groups. Making it bigger is one way, but we also have others at the same times, so stay tuned and also look at other coolers, as we do not only make big coolers

i know scythe makes also moderate sizes coolers, but overall you can see that a lot of HS become bigger and it dosen't always improve cooling (enough to justify it's size and price).
examples from scythe are the new Orochi and such, but other companies do so as well. i have to say the making of the mini ninja was great. i have read that some other company made it so that the heat pipes connect directly to the base in order to improve cooling, this is a solution. copper is proven to be good a cooling but it's heavy and expensive, maybe there are other composite materials that can be used as well? i'm pleased with my ninja, although it didn't come with a back plate and it's actually a bit unnerving that his clips might not hold. (i think you should do something about that at the same time you develop new HS - especialy when they are bigger)

more than Orochi, plus I think it will be more efficient and will fit better. Or, at least, the replacer for Mugen to support an 14 cm fan
Linear Mode
