Exclamation BFC 2007 300mm CPU Cooler ES

Hi,

I just had some time to test the compatibility to some Gigabyte Mobos and grabbed also the Sample of the biggest cool Scythe ever made and mounted it using Push Pins on the Mobo. We won't produce it but I thought you would be interested in some pics.

If anyone is interested, I can get some tech data about this baby, but as I mentioned, it is only for show and won't be produced

Cheers,
Andy

Unbelievable size!

What do you know about the weight?

It looks so strange to assemble such a big cooler with Push Pins.

Greetings,
coolanter

Hi,

I need to measure that part, but the cooler is gone to an exhibition now. Once I have it back, I will check this.

Yep, it is huge.

That is awesome! Can't wait to hear about some figures like weight and performance. Should put it upside-down. The motherboard probably weighs less!

I would bet my second Ninja CU, that this cooler never will reached an retail-market-status and will "drop" to the shops.. Okay, never say never, but i´m really sure, that this cooler only an eyecatcher/highlight for fairs/exhibtions.

That's no bet against all odds for sure as Shinigami already said that and told us it will never be produced and that it is only meant for shows.

The funniest thing about that show cooler is that it is pushpin-mounted. I would really like to know how long this one would last before it would fall off when used in a real PC. No wonder you guys are not producing it.
To add the univ. retention kit would have been crucial...

But I'm quite curious how it would have performed....

Flobelix: Yeah, the Cooler is mounted with Push Pins, thought it would be funny to see that big thing with Push Pins, which actually worked out pretty OK. If you mount it, I think it would last pretty long.

The Giant Ninja is not really planned to be produced. The weight is around 1,2kg if I remember well. I need to check it later if you are really interested in it. The cooler is on my testing machine now so I cannot take it off yet.
