I changed to the new fan, Kaze Jyuni PWM (SY1225SL12HPVC) with two speed band
on to the Grand Kama Cross (topp cooler).
My reason was to increase the airflow to cool the MB.
The original is 140mm >> 27.20 ~ 69.93 CFM____500 ~ 1,300 rpm.
Kaze Jyuni PWM,Yasya CPU >>
37.15 - 110.31 CFM____740 - 1,900 rpm
23.00 - 76.53 CFM____470 - 1,340 rpm
In other words air flow between 23 - 110 CFM (39-187 m³/h) and more
concentrated flow and higher air speed enabling to reach the MB
better since the fan is 140mm above the board on top of GKC.
With the Asus AI suite fan program it's possible to set your own
PWM regulation (called USER), temps and speed, and thereby the "angle"
of increase in two parts.
In connection with the fans regulating system to move the fan speed "band" within the 500rpm to 1900rpm this gives me any possible demand, high cooling-low noise.
Playing Stalker Clear Sky......
This and temps of the MB=35degC>NB=60degC,SB=47degC.
When CPU=48degC and GPU=58degC and GC=65-75degC VRM:s(HIS 4890 OC 900/1000)
Note: The
Asus Rampage Gene card can with AI Suite read speeds above 700rpm.
My final settings of speed became 650-1650rpm this at (36deg-53degC) played/set by ear.
This in two steps first: 650rpm at 36deg to second point: 750rpm at 45deg.
The second from 750rpm 45deg to 1650rpm at 53deg.
At CPU temp above 53deg it runs at 1650rpm.
If needed it can give more as it maxes at 1900rpm.
Everything I need in one fan.A little more sound at the higher speeds but never reaches this when normal use and gaming. But the cooling is there when needed.
