Scythe Shuriken / ASROCK NF6G-GLAN

Hello I have an problem with this my mainboard ASROCK NF6G-GLAN and the Scythe Shuriken... The lowest speed is 1850 rpm. The CPU Temp ist only at 29�C!!! Normaly the cooler runs at low-Mode. If i change in the BIOS the Quiet-Mode to normal or high-Mode, the rpm turns up to 2200rpm. What can i do to get a slower speed!?! My BIOS ist the newest... CU zomtec2002

The Shuriken uses a PWM fan. So if you already use the lowest setting of your BIOS you'll have to use an external fan controller and forget about PWM to decrease fan speed even mor. So the fan will no longer be controlled by BIOS/board/CPU load but if your mainboard doesn't offer a lower fan speed/regulation this will be the only way - or ask Asrock if they can add a "super-quiet" mode in the next BIOS release.

But I believe they'll keep some buffer and won't offer a very low speed setting as low speed also implies a low voltage which could prevent some fans from starting at all.

Hallo Oli Ich mache es mal in deutsch ;-9 ASROCK hatte ich schon vor Tagen angeschrieben aber bis heute leider noch keine Antwort erhalten... Ich werde also nicht um den Kauf eines zus�tzlichen, externen Reglers kommen :-( Gru� zomtec2002
