Can Scythe Shuriken fit a 120mm fan?

Can the shuriken fit a 120mm fan if i buy the 120mm fan clips?

Was thinking of getting a shuriken and a S-FLEX SFF21E for my sg01.

Yes it works with the 120mm fan clips. But the mentioned S-Flex doesn't offer PWM regulation as the 100mm stock fan of Shuriken does. Keep that in mind.

thanks for the advice. i don't think i'll be using the pwm function of my mb. will be blasting the sflex at full speed.

Hello! I just bought a Shurikane and I was wondering the same thing, if a 12cm fan can go with the shurikane radiator. I didn't understant what you ment by "fan clips". Can't I use the original clips that the shurikane has and hold the original 100mm fan or do I risk breaking them with a 12 cm fan? Thank you very much!

Hello Snipper,

Shuriken has fan clips for 100mm supplied in delivery. For a 120mm Fan you would need the 120mm fan clips and actually, there could be problems due to the shape of the Shuriken. The aluminum fins are shaped in a way that the 100mm fan is fixed - if it will work with 120mm fan you have to test by yourself.

related to this I am looking for a thin 120mm fan, hopefully 15mm or less and preferably 4 pin, does Scythe make one ?

At least not for the European market. Where are you from? The slim Scythe fans are only available in 100x100mm in Europe. Possibly the company sells slim 120mm fans in other parts of the world or it is just not part of their product portfolio.
