Hello,

In the description of the product Scythe website mention :

Optional Fan Mounting
Optional 92mm fan attachment is possible by using the included fan clip for more performance.


Does anyone know if any regular 92x92x25mm fan can be mounted ?

I would be very interested in mouting a Noctua NF-B9 on it.

A 92mm fan can be used with the supplied fan clips......but only if the corners of the fan are open, since the clips use the bottom flange.

If the fan has closed corners, they can be cut open with a Dremel and a cutting disk. Or....just attach the fan with zip-ties. Run a zip-tie through a corner hole of the fan and down between the fins. Run a second zip tie over the first. The second zip-tie acts like a nut. Snug it up and cut off the excess of the two zip-ties.
