Shuriken AM3 mounting kit on Ninja 2?

Hi,

I was thinking of buying a used Ninja 2 that does not have any AM3 mounting kit for my motherboard. Is it possible to take my brothers AM3 mounting kit for his Shuriken and use it for my Ninja 2?

Question is, is it possible to use mounting kits from other coolers models within Scythe's?

No, you can only mix some of the brackets.

There are two principles: VTMS and Non-VTMS brackets. VTMS brackets from dif. Scythe coolers should be rather cpompatible but you cannot mount Non-VTMS clips to a VTMS cooler and vice-versa as the principle as completely different. Shuriken has VTMS and Ninja 2 does not = NOT compatible.

On Ninja 2 the bracket is screwed to the cooler and VTMS clips are plugged into to cooler w/o screws at all.
