Scythe Shuriken stops frequently

Hello!

first of, I'm a huge fan of scythe's fans!

now that we got that out of the way:

I bought a Shuriken(fan) back in 14/08/09.

Lately I noticed strange sounds coming from the pc case.
It turns out that my fan has the exact same problem described in this thread.

Is there anyway I can fix it?
Should I buy a new one? and if so, which one do you recommend?
