Default Another single-fan/Ninja case setup.

Here's another single-fan setup using a Ninja. It's a work in progress, but you can see the basics.....SPCR Link. Who needs more than one fan?

Hi Bluefront, Happy New Year!

You seem to be really enthusiastic about this. I really like what you are doing and the transparent duct is really nice. The HDDs seem to be cooled as well, impressive. That's not something that everyone could really accomplish, so good job

Thanks....the mods to this setup continue. The single fan is now a Scythe S-Flex 1600rpm.....which is usually running about 850rpms. And I added a dual-HD setup to the duct cooling. An opening in the right side of the duct directs some airflow between the drives.....which are enclosed in a DIY copper cooler-box. See the SPCR link for additional photos.

Hi Bluefront!

I really like your work. This week during the meeting with editors from SPCR we actually were talking about your enthusiastic projects. Keep the good work up!

This mod is not ready? It looks like it is pretty much is at it's perfection stage.

The whole project was actually a test of the airflow system.......trying of course to build the quietest possible computer with the least airflow, which also ran cool temperatures. It was mostly built from older/used parts.

The test stage is mostly done......and I've ordered some new pieces and a new case for the final build. It'll be slightly bigger in a case which will make the whole thing quieter, and cooler.....I hope.

Ok, sounds really interesting. Please keep me posted here, as it is too difficult to follow many forums meanwhile. I appreciate your support and help =)
