Setsugen on Radeon 5770 & 5750

I currently have a 4770 and understand Setsugen will fit his card OK. I'm already planning to upgrade my card to 5770. I've found inconsistent info on Setsugen's compatibility with 5770 & 5750 (Scythe website say it's not OK, a lot of vendors say it's OK).

I understand these two particular cards have GPUs a little closer to the I/O end. And they tend to have these large shrouds for double DVI connectors. Will this be the limiting factor here?

Has anyone already tried Setsugen on 5770 or 5750?

Any info will be appreciated Please also post pics if you have such setups.

I too would like to know why the Setsugen won't fit a 5750, it sure looks like it will fit.

Hello,

ehm Setsugen is not compatbile with standard 57xx. If you have some 57xx with 1-Slot than it work. Problem are DVI port. (to high) Setsugen is blocked by this.

ATI 5850 & 5870 have the high big DVI port, too but the GPU is more fitted to right on the PCB.

I run it on a 5850 saphire.

idle 36-38 c. fan at 30%.
Got 3 casefans.
Old midtower (had to cut extra hole for extra airflow).

Playin Cod Mw2 at full settings in full hd temp rises to 58-60c. (1 hour play)

The 5850 cards have very thin boards, so watch it bend with 2 powerconnetors fitted. So take care id say..

Impressive set. I love it.

Shame there was no Scythe sticker in the box to put on my pc-case.
Im makin my own sticker now.
