How long is the warranty?

Simple. How long is the warranty with Scythe S-FLEXs?

Some resellers do not allow RMA.
I'm thinking about buying 5 of these for my cases. If the warranty is too short then I cannot risk buying expensive fans if they have a warranty shorter than 3 years...

So how long can I RMA a broken fan with Scythe?
Scythe says they should work for 25 years?! Are they warrantied for 25 years then? How long?

Hi SocialUser,

Thanks a lot for your interest in Scythe items.

The thing is, that companies mostly give you 1 year and we go for 2 year warranty. You could send the broken fans to us if it has a problem. I can not offer you 3 years warranty but the fans are done so they can work for a long time. In fact the RMA percentage of S-FLEX fans is really low, so I can onyl say that I doubt that you will have any problems there based on my experience with the fans.

Hello,

Yesterday I bought a new case and a '120mm Scythe Gentle Typhoon 1150RPM'.

I've installed it in the front, to cool the hdd's, but it didn't work. I checked it & saw that the tinny yellow cable broke

Seems like to be very frigile. I payed �12.99 for it.

Can I return it in RMA in my shop or send it towards you guys?

you had really unluck

and this kind of damage sounds very strange for me. Well, you can send it back to your shop, should be the fastest way to receive a new fan. If you life in Germany, than send it directly to us and write me here a PM.

Thanks for your fast reply. I live in Belgium, next to Germany, perhaps it's easier to send it directly towards you guys in the original package.

Cause my shop 'Tones' is not close by, I only drive to there if I need alot of stuff.
