Problems due to breathing hole?

hi,

i just bought a new hdd and want to put it into my quiet drive. but i just discovered that the drive has a breathing hole. have you had any experiences with it? may the quiet drive kill my hdd?

I made several HDD mods that required sealing the breather hole off completely - never had a problem. Anyway, SQD is lined with open cell foam that allows air to pass through.

Hi,

as EndoSteel mentioned the "breathing hole" is actually not really 100% covered, the air should still pass. Never experienced any trouble with that issue.
