Default 3,5" Quiet Drive eingestellt?
Hallo,

wurde das "große" 3,5" Quiet Drive eingestellt?
Kein Distributor hat das Ding mehr
Oder nur momentaner Lieferengpass?

Das große Quiet Drive ist END OF LIFE. Derzeit sind die meisten Foren-Betreuer von Scythe noch auf der CeBit.

I feel really sorry about discontinue big SQD. Himuro doesn't make hdd any quieter, and there are no alternatives on market, at least in Russia. Why did you replace SQD with Himuro?

there was no enough demand for the Scythe Quiet Drive .....
(the HDD's of the last years are very silent ......)

Well I can see people bothering about their drives noise pretty often. (PC's getting quiet too, so they figures out their drives not as quiet as they thought before)
Strange that 2.5" one is still available, though small drives are suppose to be less noisy.
I've heard u stopped SQD 3.5" because of overheating issue, I guess its just a rumors?
