Hi Shaolin95,
I had exacttly the same question, look at Larger Fans? page 2 and 3. The official specs of the slipstream 1900 might probably be a little optimistic... hardware.info rated it more for 90 cfm than 110. The noise is pretty similar between kaze maru 1900 and slipstream 1900 @ 5 and 12 v; so the ratio cfm/db is always better for the kaze maru. I have both in my case and my personnal believing is in favor of the kaze (for 2 or 3 °C) on a heatsink (it was also demonstrated here on a mugen 1). But I would be also very interested in the results of a test of both @1900 on a mugen 2... Values of static pressure of the slipstream are known : 500RPM -- 0.12mmH2O 800RPM -- 0.34mmH2O 1200RPM -- 0.92mmH2O 1600RPM -- 1.46mmH2O 1900RPM -- 2.30mmH2O but not those of the kaze maru: Stefan or Chris ![]() Cheers |
