Only holes for 120mm on this fan!

User report: Anybody Using Scythe "KAZE MARU" 140mm Case Fan? - PC Perspective Forums

Quote:

While the fan maybe 140 mm, it can only be used with 120 mm fan placements. In other words, if your case has a true 140 mm fan placement, these fans cannot be used, because the hole setup is only for 120 mm

You are correct, it will not fit in a true 140 mm fan placement. It is a combination/hybrid of 120 mm and 140 mm fans.

I must wait for the release of the Scythe 140mm fan with the normal square frame and normal 140 mounting holes

Hello,
would be great to know some upm of the Kaze Maru at different voltages. Means, f.e. xx upm @ 5 V, xx upm @ 7 V.
I'm very interested to this on the types:
SY1425SL12L (500 upm-Version)
SY1425SL12M (1200 upm-Version)

And one more question: Is a 800 upm version planned? If yes, do you know already some facts, like dB or qm/h?
