Unhappy Cant install Kama Bay 5" Cooler

Hello,

Ive just bought the already mentioned Cooler but I have
a stupid case (casetek 1018) which uses sliding clips for
hdd's and cd-drives only.. there are no screw holes
in the 5" or 3" slots..

What i wanted is to cool 3 hdd's wich are inside of a Sharkoon HDD Vibe-Fixer
which need a 5" slot each.. I can clip the sliding things on the cooler and put it in
but I dont know how I can put the hdd's in there after that?

Any existing solutions besides trying to drill some holes and build some metal thingies to let me screw the cooler and the hdd's?

EDT: I just found this thread: http://www.scythe-eu.com/forum/coole...-kama-bay.html
posting about nearly the same problem.. but it doesnt solve mine
cause I dont have ANY holes for screws
Ill add pictures when I have the HDD Vibe-Fixer's..
(I hope they arrive tomorrow)

thanks

uhm, well it doesnt work

I cant make both, the hdd and the cooler fit into the slots,
because there is no way to fix both

I can either fix the cooler with these blue slide-clips..
or the hdd's..

and you can see there are no holes for screws either..

The last pic I posted is what I wanted it to look like in the end
inside the case..

So how about screw the HDD enclosure to Kama Bay and mount the Kama Bay by using the mounting bars? I think this should work. You might need to make some separate mounting plate for Kama Bay and the enclosure. It should work using screws after that. I can maybe draw something if you don't understand what I mean.

Cheers
