USB foot switch - long press

Hi,
I'd like to know if your USB foot switch can detect long press. I mean, I need to use it on a software that launch a function only if some key combination is pressed for 1 second. Will I be able to program your pedalboard to do that ?

Hello swanny84,

with our Scythe USB Foot Switches it´s possible to programming key combinations like ctrl+alt+del. You can try the software. The newest version 2.0 -> Scythe USB Foot Switch Treiber : Download - PCMasters.de

I understand it allows programming key combinations but what I need to know before buying it is : if I press the pedal for 3 seconds, will it have the same effect as pressing the key combination for 3 seconds. I mean, does the pedal send an information when it's released or only when pressed ?

You can hold a pedal down as long as you like, the same as an actual keyboard.
