Hi guys,
you see a lot of things when doing RMA-jobs. And often you ask yourself "what the hell have they done with our coolers"? ![]() Sometimes you have to reproduce the damages done by the customers to be sure, that they could have been happened accidentally and not by negligence. During the experiment which I would like to present here, we wanted to show, that the heatpipes of our CPU-coolers can't be damaged without using tools like Dremel or nippers. We used a Ninja Plus Rev.B which came to us with nicely damaged cooling fins. After bending the cooler with violence, we now can say: It is impossible to damage the heatpipes without negligence. But well, let's pictures speak: After 1h of CPU-stressing, CPU-temperature was still stable at about 65°C. Ambient temperature: 25°C Disclaimer: Don't try this at home. No animals were harmed during these experiments.
