Default Ninja Plus Rev.A help.

Hello

I´ve been happily running my original Ninja Plus to cool an AMD 3800 x2 Socket 939 for several years, but I recently managed to get my hands on an AMD FX-60 cpu.

So I need to remove the cooler and old cpu. Problem is, I cant find the manual anywhere and the pdf from the scythe site is corrupted (i can download and read the ninja plus CU version without any problem, just not the one i need).

So if someone could email me the manual, I´d be grateful. I´d also appreciate any advice on removing the cooler, I seem to remember it required a fair amount of force to install. Do I need to completely remove the motherboard or do you think it can be done in the case.

Using:
Antec P180 Case
Asus A8n Sli Deluxe MBoard

Hello transmat,

please have a look at this:
ftp://ftp.scythe.com/Manuals/CPU%20C...U%20Cooler.pdf

Kind regards,

Thanks for the ftp link, I printed out a copy.

CPU was switched easily enough with a bit of patience, although I did use a (non-metal) screwdriver to push the heatsink levers out of the holes in the plastic support.

I feel sorry for my old 3800x2, looks like its life is over.
